I can do several finishes, it really depends on what I'm making and what it is for.
Some of the main ones can be:
| Polyurethane | Modern finish, leaves glossy hard coat that is durable, waterproof, and food safe. |
| Boiled Linseed Oil | Oil finish that hardens to a nice seal. I use it on things like axe handles, bokken, and things I want my hands to be on without splintering. |
| Raw linseed Oil | (Otherwise known as Flax Oil) Boiled Linseed Oil has chemicals that make it not food safe. This version is food safe, so you can apply it to get a rustic period look. Great for cutting boards (Mineral Oil also works, but you have to re-apply it more often, in my experience) |
| Wax | This can give a nice buffed appearance. Great for sliding puzzles and the like. |
| Others | Shellac, varnish, other oils, stains, dyes, etc. Various other things can be done, too |
