How do I wash my mug/tankard?: NEVER PUT THEM IN A DISHWASHER. Hand wash and rinse with mild soapy water, then towel off and air dry. Once each year (or more often with extremely heavy use), raw linseed oil-finished tankards need a fresh coat. You should be able to find food-grade raw linseed oil or flax oil in the supermarket or a specialty store.
